She ended last season prematurely. Before summer training, biathlete Hanna Kebinger goes on vacation – with her boyfriend.

Many German biathletes are taking a vacation after a strenuous winter season – and some are sharing their impressions on social media. While Anna Weidel, who won relay gold at the 2025 European Championships in Val Martello, is traveling through Norway with her dog, Hanna Kebinger is drawn to the sea.

Together with her partner Tobias Hausler, she shared two photos of the beach in a story on Instagram, but did not want to reveal the location. In the picture, Kebinger is standing in a black bikini next to her boyfriend, who is wearing dark, loose-fitting swimming trunks.

Both had probably been in the sun for a long time at the time the photo was taken, as clear redness on their shoulders, arms and chest shows. Behind them you can see a bright dream beach and the sea. In a second picture you can see more of the beach, including brown rocks on the right edge of the picture and fleecy clouds in the sky. Hardly any people can be seen in both pictures; the couple apparently chose a less frequented destination.

The couple has been together for five years, as Kebinger also revealed on Instagram. “Five years of both of us and I would choose you again and again,” she wrote a few weeks ago. Your partner is also an athlete and enjoys being outside as a trail runner. Both also have a dog, as can be seen in private snapshots. But he apparently had to stay at home on the trip south.

Kebinger recently had to struggle with illnesses. After the German Championships in 2019, she was diagnosed with pericarditis. In 2023 she won World Cup silver with the women’s relay, but fell ill with Covid again in the same year. In the World Cup in 2024 she achieved third place in the relay. Since she was unable to qualify for the World Cup, Kebinger ended the season early.
