THEthe case of the third episode of the fiction A cop in the Apennines (this evening on Rai 1 to 9.30pm) is complicated. Vasco, Amaranta and the team of policemen from the Muntagò police station must track down a serial killer who kills thieves. Also joining them in the investigation is Sallustio, with whom Vasco had disagreements in the past. There is bad blood between the two, but they are forced to collaborate.
There are also matters of the heart to be resolved. In the previous episode Benassi and Nicole broke up due to different views on the concept of a couple, but in this episode the two find harmony again. Friendly or even loving? Something had also broken between Amaranta and Magicoespecially because of the policewoman: when she hears about stable relationships she becomes anxious. Magico, on the other hand, has very clear ideas: he is in love.
A cop in the Apennines: next episode, plot previews April 23rd on Rai 1 and RaiPlay
A man is hit and killed by a combine harvester. He is a 42-year-old Albanian, already arrested several times. The case that Vasco (Claudio Bisio) and his team must investigate immediately appears anomalous: it doesn’t seem like a classic provincial crime, but something much more complex. Whoever acted appears to be a professional.
We’re starting to talk about a possible motive: revenge between thieves? Before taking his last breath, the victim uttered the name “Lobster”. Did the killer wear a mask or call himself that? Vasco and Amaranta (Chiara Celotto) track down a Chinese street vendor who has sold a series of masks to the same man. The killer kills again. For the commissioner it is a serial killer who targets thieves.
Benassi is joined in the investigation by his arch-enemy Sallust. In fact, there is bad blood between the two due to old grudges. Meanwhile, Amaranta manages to extort some information from some drug dealers who say they saw the killer in a white tracksuit and with a mask. The Lobster continues to kill, it would seem, following a precise list of names.

The relationship between Nicole and Benassi also seems to be getting better.

Vasco, encouraged by Amaranta, returns to Nicole to declare his love and the serious intentions of building something with the mayor. How will Nicole take the commissioner’s proposal?
The relationship between Amaranta and Magico and the conflict between Vasco and Sallustio
Amaranta is attracted to Magico, but is not yet ready to build a serious relationship. Nicole’s son, on the other hand, has very clear ideas: he loves the policewoman and is also inclined to live with her. Between However, Gaetana’s son (Elisa Di Eusanio) enters the two, he is also madly in love with Amaranta.
Sallustio (Antonio Gherardi) wants to take control of the case followed by Vasco. There is a deep rivalry between the two: in the past the head of the homicide section has appropriated the merits of a case solved by his colleaguesparking a real feud. The two hate each other and don’t talk to each other, but this time they are forced to collaborate. Will old grudges melt away?
