origins
Elvy was founded in 2015 by singer Laura Vlasblom and her partner Michel Veenman as a leather bag and belt brand. It all started with the idea of designing a small leather bag for Dutch festivals. The shoulder bag was inspired by Polish WWII ammunition pouches, which are perfect for storing all your personal belongings. The collection was soon expanded to include shoppers and handbags, enabling the label to gain a foothold in the French and German markets.

In 2017, the brand expanded its collection with belts in a variety of classic and trendy designs. The iconic waist belt is one of Elvy’s most popular pieces. The brand’s products are manufactured in the Netherlands, Italy and Morocco according to European standards and under BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative) conditions. The leathers used are high-quality cattle hides, which are offered in various colors and finishes.
