Tomi Häppölä is now a father. The first son was born this spring.
Häppölä originally became known as the pot-haired Häärijä character, who would hang around at Käärijä’s gigs and in interviews without saying a word. Mükä Häärijä himself has become a popular entertainment character with plenty of fans.
This spring, the situation changed, when Häppölä participated in Farmi Finland as his own, talkative self.
– I wanted to challenge myself and diversify so that I wouldn’t just stick to that one character. I have a lot to give. I like challenges, and this was a nice style program. A nice start to speaking, Häppölä told the Farmi Suomen press conference for MTV.
Häppölä was eliminated from the Farmi Suomi program after losing a duel to Jucci Hellström.
Häppölä has also been seen on television as the director of the Ylen Jumppahetki program in 2023.
In last summer’s Ruisrock, Häppölä took the stage at Erika Vikman’s gig as Herika.
