The Italian surrendered, with a score of 6-2 7-6 (4), in front of the American Frances Tiafoe, number 26 in the international ranking. For the 24-year-old Roman, it wasn’t an easy return, given that with Tiafoe he had only won once in his career (the final in Acapulco this year), and then you know: after a defeat in a Slam final, at the end of such a tiring journey, it takes a little time to get fueled.
