Madonna makes her comeback official with a dramatic Instagram campaign: “Confessions on a Dancefloor 2” is coming – again with producer Stuart Price.
In 2005, Madonna released “Confessions on a Dancefloor,” probably one of her most successful works. The record became a global success and sold over ten million copies. The hit “Hung Up” alone went to number one in the charts in 41 countries and the artist underlined her title as “Queen of Pop” in an impressive way. In the last few weeks there have been increasing signs of a big comeback – it is even confirmed that Madonna will soon build on her success from 2005.
Album announcement on Instagram
April 14, 2026 brings good news for all Madonna fans. The singer deleted all posts on her Instagram account. What initially seemed like a cryptic message turned out to be the start of an album promotion phase. What followed was an Instagram story in which the words “Confessions on a Dancefloor 2” flew across the screen, followed by two speakers.
It seems clear that the successor to the hit album from 2005 will not be long in coming and new music from the “Queen of Pop” will soon be heard.
New album is on the way
A new record from the 67-year-old has already been announced in recent months. In February, she shared a post telling her fans that she was “putting her heart and soul” into her new music. She concluded the message with the wording “Confessions 2”.
The announcement followed her reunion with the Warner Records label in September 2025. She said back then that she was “looking forward to the future and making music with joy”. She also teased the new project as part of re-signing a contract with Warner: “Back to the music, back to the dance floor, back to where it all began! COADF – p. 2 🪩2026.”
Reuniting with hit producers
It is also known that the “Physical Attraction” interpreter is collaborating again with producer Stuart Price. He already produced the original “Confessions on a Dancefloor”, and the two have been working together again since 2024.
A release date and the first song titles for the album are not yet known. However, fans can be sure: Madonna’s big comeback is not too far away.
