Tennis professional Bernard Tomic is happy about the birth of his first child. Exciting: It was not yet known that the Australian would become a father.
Tennis player Bernard Tomic has become a father for the first time. His partner Keeley Hannah posted three photos of the newborn on Instagram. On this he lies in his cot dressed in white knitted clothes and sleeps.
The girl’s name is Astara Aurelia Tomic and she was born on April 5th, Hannah wrote about the picture. The child is “the most beautiful secret we have ever kept.”
In fact, nothing was known about the pregnancy beforehand. Hannah and Tomic had not made this public. The announcement of the good news was all the more surprising.
In the meantime, Tomic hasn’t been able to draw attention to himself in terms of sport for a long time. The 33-year-old is now only 191st in the world rankings. A little more than ten years ago he was in 17th place.
In his career, Tomic, who was born in Stuttgart, won a total of four ATP tournaments, the last of which was in 2018 in Chengdu, China. At Grand Slam level, his greatest success to date was at Wimbledon. He reached the quarterfinals of the grass classic in 2011. At the Australian Open it was enough to reach the round of 16 three times (2012, 2015, 2016).
