At 21, Aleksandar Pavlovic is already a fixture in FC Bayern’s midfield, a nine-time German national football player and, as a native of Munich and a true homegrown player, a player who has been missed by the German record champions for a long time. However, the youngster’s skills are not only intended to arouse enthusiasm on Säbener Straße.
The “TEAMtalk” portal names numerous clubs that are said to have their eye on Aleksandar Pavlovic from FC Bayern. However, two supposed interested parties in particular catch the eye: Real Madrid and FC Barcelona.
The Royals, who need to catch up with FC Bayern on Wednesday in order to book a ticket for the semi-finals of the Champions League, are therefore planning to make an offer for Pavlovic. FC Barcelona is said to have at least inquired about the midfielder, it is said with reference to unnamed sources.
In addition to the Spanish top teams, English clubs Tottenham Hotspur and Brighton & Hove Albion are said to be interested.
Any courtship, even that “TEAMtalk” doesn’t hide, is probably a hopeless undertaking: Pavlovic and Co. are said to have rejected all advances and have “made it unmistakably clear” that a transfer after the current season is “out of the question”, according to the portal.
Farewell to FC Bayern? Pavlovic reacts
An assessment that is not surprising, as Pavlovic himself recently expressed himself very clearly on the subject.
Confronted with rumors that he wanted to turn his back on FC Bayern during his time with the U15 and U16, Pavlovcic explained to “Sky Sport”:
“That’s a false rumor. I never thought about leaving Bayern. I always wanted to make it here, I never gave up and always kept going. Even when there was a more difficult time because I was small and wasn’t physically enough. But for me it wasn’t an option to leave FC Bayern.”
Pavlovic has a contract at Säbener Straße until 2029 and will therefore probably continue to play for the club he loves for a long time.
