Through an Instagram note, the president responded to what happened to the Nerazzurri managers in the stands: “It does not reflect the values we are building. Anyone who is not able to respect their opponents will not be welcome”
First the values, then the victories and – in general – everything else. Como president Mirwan Suwarso apologized with a post on Instagram for what happened yesterday at Sinigaglia, where several fans present in the grandstand abused the Nerazzurri managers. Apart from the episode of Barella, who left the field miming the “four” with his hand and was consequently booed by the stadium, Suwarso, an official note, took a clear position regarding the behavior of its fans towards the visiting team.

This is the statement from the Como president: “The pride in our performance cannot overcome my disappointment at the behavior shown by some in the grandstand towards the opposing delegation. I understand that football brings intense emotions, but we must never lose sight of who we are. Ours is a club with solid values and dignity is one of the most important ones. It must extend beyond the pitch, towards our opponents, their fans and above all their managers and representatives. They are our guests and deserve respect”. And again: “Taunts and insults in the grandstand do not represent the club we are building. They undermine the very values we defend. We will work to defend these values, firmly and consistently. We will take the necessary measures to ensure that this standard is respected. The integrity of our club and the progress of the league as a whole depends on mutual respect. Those who are unable to respect it will not be welcome.”
