The accumulation of different types of risks in recent times is putting more pressure on the financial markets. Economic uncertainty, technological accelerations and persistent geopolitical tensions are increasingly intertwined. The financial sector must therefore respond more to unpredictability and erratic market movements, says the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM) when presenting its annual report for 2025.
