WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) – According to Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, the US armed forces remain ready for quick military strikes. “We’re not going anywhere. We’re making sure Iran abides by the ceasefire,” Hegseth said at a news conference in Washington. The armed forces are ready to get going again at any time, whatever their goals.
Hegseth declared the war in Iran to be won. In less than six weeks, the USA had achieved a “historic victory”. “We have completely destroyed Iran’s defense industry – a central objective of our mission.” It is possible that Iran will still be able to shoot back in isolated cases.
