Road pirate drives through four front gardens and crashes caravan into the home of Gaston (80) and Paula (79) in Dendermonde: “I thought the television exploded”

A driver caused enormous damage in an accident in Schoonaarde (Dendermonde) in East Flanders on Thursday afternoon. He flew straight through no fewer than four front gardens and catapulted a caravan into the home of Gaston (80) and Paula (79). Ultimately, he crashed his vehicle into an electricity pole in a canal. “This could have turned out completely differently,” local residents react in shock. The damage is enormous.
