The new trailer for “Euphoria” season 3 promises pure chaos – from April 12th on HBO.
More than four years have passed since audiences last saw the crew together – and the reunion promises to be the stuff nightmares and lucid dreams are made of. Rue (Zendaya) swallows bags of unknown drugs and is interrogated by police in Mexico. Jules (Hunter Schafer) tries to gain a foothold as an artist, works part-time as a sugar baby and crosses the path of Cal (the late Eric Dane). There are also fleeting glimpses of a bloody bone saw, a fire and a wild chase.
Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) is now living the life of a cam girl, and her husband Nate (Jacob Elordi) seems to have become the target of an old friend-enemy. One of the most diabolical moments in the clip: Maddy (Alexa Demie) reappears in her life. “I’m going to tell you something that might make you angry,” Cassie says to Nate over dinner. “Maddy is helping me.” “My Maddy?” Nate replies – to which Cassie reminds him that she her BFF was, first.
Hollywood, chaos, new faces
Lexi (Maude Apatow) is now in Hollywood and quite rightly asks the question: “What’s wrong with you?” The series’ official description announces: “A group of childhood friends wrestles with the virtue of faith, the possibility of redemption, and the problem of evil.” Colman Domingo, Martha Kelly, Chloe Cherry and Dominic Fike also return – along with newcomers like Sharon Stone, Rosalía, Eli Roth and more.
The upcoming season is the first since the death of Angus Cloud, who played Fezco, who died in July 2023, and the death of Dane, who passed away in February after a battle with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
