According to a media report, the Italian football club AS Roma is interested in Julian Brandt from Borussia Dortmund.
As the sports newspaper “Gazzetta dello Sport” reported, Roma has targeted the offensive player for a summer move. The report continued that there had already been contacts between the 29-year-old’s environment and the Serie A club.
Brandt has been playing for Borussia Dortmund since 2019. After this season, however, he will leave BVB on a free transfer. Roma could leave several players this summer, possibly including Paulo Dybala (32). Brandt’s departure from Dortmund could come in handy for the Italian club. According to the newspaper’s report, Brandt would be a suitable replacement for Dybala.
Brandt played his last of 48 international matches for the German national team in November 2024.
