A truck and a car collided this afternoon on the A28 near De Wijk. One person was taken to hospital by ambulance.
Several emergency services responded to the report that came in around 3 p.m. Due to the accident, the right lane in the direction of Zuidwolde is closed. Traffic should take into account approximately 20 minutes of delay. There is a traffic jam of about 4 kilometers with slow to stationary traffic.
It is still unclear how the accident could have happened.
