A car crashed on the Nieuwe Bredasebaan in Breda on Friday night. This happened around half past five at night.
The driver came from the direction of Terheijden and was driving in the direction of Breda when things went wrong. He shot the car across a green strip, drove through a lamppost, slid across the cycle path and eventually came to a stop on the service road.
When police arrived, the driver was nowhere to be found. The road surface was littered with car debris and several road signs.
A salvage company took the car. The police are looking for the driver.
