Fidan Ekiz (49) and Gunay Uslu (53), two women from completely different worlds, but with a surprisingly shared background. One makes documentaries, hosts talk shows and delves into the stories of others as a journalist, while the other, as director of Corendon and former State Secretary for Culture and Media, is often the subject of conversation. They both grew up with Turkish parents, both combine a busy public life with children and both move effortlessly between cultures, roles and expectations.
