Norwegian channel expert Petter Skinstad expected a red card and a discus, but the jury spared the legend.
– This is one of Norwegian skiing’s biggest scandals ever, Skinstad lamented the decision.
The final result of the investigation meant that the Northug brothers Petter and Even, who came first in the race in Lygna, were allowed to keep their victory.
Jury’s beak man Tornbjörn Pettenen admitted that Northug had gone into a gray area to say the least, but in his opinion it was a legal duel.
