Aleksi and Jenni are one of the couples of the new season of the Dream Wedding program.
When Jenny26, and Aleksi Forss30, were planning their wedding, they sought inspiration A dream wedding– from old episodes of the program. In the same rush, Aleksi’s attention was caught by the announcement that participants are being sought for the new season of the series.
The very next day, the couple received a call from the producer of the series, Juha-Pekka Ristmer. The couple found out that they are participating in the eighth production season of the program.
Soon, the couple’s celebration of love will be seen on television. Forssie’s wedding was celebrated in the fall of 2024 in Karku Church in Sastamala.
Before the wedding bells rang, the couple hadn’t had time to know each other for a long time. They have progressed quickly in their relationship.
The spark was already there when Aleksi was still in his previous relationship. The situation with the ex-partner had turned to the point that he was already looking for a new apartment. At the same time, Aleksi and his ex-partner had made an agreement that Tinder could be browsed – as long as the other party was blocked on the service.
And it was through Tinder that Jenni found her way into Aleksi’s life.
– I was playing Tinder with a friend. Males don’t get a lot of matches, so we had a competition to see who gets more matches, Aleksi says.
As a matter of principle, Aleksi had a “Tinder game” that he would not post messages himself. If they come to him, he might answer them.
Then he hit it off with Jenni.
– He sent a message saying, what a doge. I was like what does this mean. Does he mean me or the dog that was there (in the photo), Aleksi recalls.

Love at first sight
Aleksi thought about the answer to Jenni for four hours and consulted his colleagues in between. Aleksi didn’t get a clear view on whether Jenni, who was on the other end of the dating app, meant him or the dog in her message, even from his colleagues.
– I replied that I’m not quite sure what you mean. I’m such a country boy.
Jenni says that she meant a dog in the message, although Aleksi imagined something else. However, after a couple of days of messaging, there was already new confusion.
– I sent Jenni a message that I should comb my hair back or to the side. Then I put that I’m already on my way, Aleksi says.
Jenni says she was scared at first.
– Hell, I really didn’t think you’d come here. I thought for a while whether I should make her oharis or not. Then I thought I’ll see you later, says Jenni.
Aleksi himself admits that he thought he was just going to make fun of a “pretty girl” in the park and then continue the evening with his friend. It was the other way around.
– Let’s say it crashed. I knew right away that it was meant to be. It was love at first sight, says Aleksi.
After the first meeting, things progressed quickly. Within half a year, the couple had become engaged, married and started expecting their first child together.
Now the couple lives in the area of the city of Vammala as a new family. After the wedding, Jenni has started studying information and communication technology, while Aleksi has been living the life of a stay-at-home dad.
– The plan is to continue studying, hopefully to graduate and to continue to have as smooth a home life as possible, which can be lived with a million children, Jenni describes her plans for the future.
