Finland’s largest fried chicken chain is breaking away from the international concept. It will be replaced by Dust & Fry. The international Chitir Chicken, specializing in fried chicken, is closing its operations in Finland. The franchise chain, which operates in Finland with 23 restaurants, is reforming into the domestic Dust & Fry restaurant chain. The first Dust & Fry restaurants will open in May. In Helsinki, the Malmi and Sörnäinen and Lappeenranta restaurants operate as pilot units for the new concept. The rest of the restaurants will be renovated in stages by the end of 2026. The chain’s goal is to open six completely new restaurants by the end of the year.
