The German Football League (DFL) announced on Friday (March 27th, 2026) the exact scheduling of match days 31 to 34 in the Bundesliga. The next kick-off dates in the 2nd league have also been set.
The Rhenish derby between 1. FC Cologne and Bayer Leverkusen on matchday 31 will be played on Saturday afternoon (April 25, 2026, 3:30 p.m.).
The top games on Saturday evening will be played by Hamburger SV against TSG Hoffenheim (04/25/2026, 6:30 p.m.), Bayer Leverkusen – RB Leipzig (05/02/2026, 6:30 p.m.) and VfL Wolfsburg against Bayern Munich (05/09/2026, 6:30 p.m.).
No games on the May 1st holiday
On the 34th matchday, all matches will take place at the same time at 3:30 p.m. – in the Bundesliga on Saturday, May 16th, in the 2nd Bundesliga on Sunday, May 17th.
Because of the holiday, there will be no Bundesliga and 2nd Bundesliga games on Friday, May 1st. Instead, on matchday 32, six games in the Bundesliga are scheduled for Saturday afternoon (May 2nd) and five games in the 2nd Bundesliga are scheduled for Sunday afternoon (May 3rd).
2nd league: Wetsfalen derby on Saturday
The DFL has also announced the exact schedule for match days 31 to 34 in the 2nd Bundesliga.
The Westphalia derby between Preußen Münster and Arminia Bielefeld will take place here on April 25th, 2026 at 1 p.m. In the evening there will be a duel between promotion candidates SV Darmstadt and SV Elversberg at 8.30 p.m.
Schalke 04 will play its penultimate home game on Saturday, May 2nd, 2026 at 1 p.m. against Fortuna Düsseldorf.
