Abdallah died as a child soldier in Syria, Naaldwijk’s mother now in court

Ayada K. from Naaldwijk took her 13-year-old son Abdallah to the caliphate in 2014. In Syria he was recruited by Islamic State (IS) and was killed. Ayada will appear in court on Friday. It is the first time that someone in the Netherlands has been accused of complicity in the recruitment of a child soldier.
