Man remains silent about attack on children and boxer stops: this happened on Wednesday

Mourad Z. (49) was tried in Moergestel for the attempted murder of his two young children in December last year. The father stabbed and strangled his children, aged 6 and 7, before driving against traffic on the A58 and causing a serious accident. In court he admitted responsibility but refused to explain why he did it. Z. only wants to talk to psychologists and psychiatrists. His lawyer points to severe insomnia and possibly psychosis. Then to the kitchen: it turns out that the popular dish babi pangang originated in Eindhoven. TV chef Danny Jansen shares a recipe to make this Chinese-Indian classic at home. The dish, which has its roots in China and Indonesia, was adapted to Dutch taste in the Netherlands by the chef of restaurant Pom Lai. There is also sports news: Chelsey Heijnen from Roosendaal stops boxing at the age of 26. The last few years have been tough due to organizational and mental challenges, she writes on Instagram. Heijnen can look back on an impressive career with six national titles, a European youth title, World Cup bronze and a fifth place at the Olympic Games in Paris. Furthermore: Frank Lammers speaks openly for the first time about his departure from Jumbo after thirteen years. In the podcast ‘Ni Na Lammers Listen’ he says that he shed a tear on the last day. “I have seen the children grow up,” says the actor about the Jumbo family from the commercials. Although the departure is a ‘small loss’ financially, the main relief is that he no longer has to work ten weekends a year. Finally: Bart Tinus (40) from Den Bosch is the goalkeeper coach of Suriname and dreams of World Cup qualification. Suriname must win two matches this week to go to the World Cup for the first time. Tinus, who also works at RKC Waalwijk, started working at Natio almost a year ago even though he had never been to Suriname.
