The basketball player and his wife Milika Tasic had been reported by an operator for a harsh confrontation dating back to 15 October. The lawyer: “An important step towards ascertaining the truth: that is, the total estrangement of the spouses”
Storage. This was requested by the Bologna Prosecutor’s Office regarding the investigation into Luca Vildoza, the Argentine playmaker of Virtus, and his wife Milika Tasic, accused of causing injuries for the episode on the evening of October 15th. It had happened on the ring road avenues. And there was the involvement of a Red Cross ambulance worker. The request comes after the notification, over a month ago, of the notice of closure of the investigation which had allowed the defenders, the lawyers Giulia Maria Bellipario and Mattia Grassani, to present briefs and produce documents. “We have always had confidence in the activity of the Public Prosecutor’s Office”, commented the lawyer Grassarni. And again: “It is a very important step towards ascertaining the truth which can be one and only one, namely that of the total non-involvement of the Vildoza spouses in any charge whatsoever. We are waiting to read in detail the provision requesting dismissal adopted by the magistrate and then we will evaluate the next steps”.

The story dates back to the evening after the Euroleague match between Virtus and Monaco, when, at the end of the match, a harsh confrontation broke out between the two Vildoza spouses and the personnel of an ambulance that arrived in the avenue area. The health department had filed a complaint and the police had arrested the couple, who however were released shortly after, while the Prosecutor’s Office had decided not to proceed with the immediate ritual. On 13 January the investigating judge had not validated the arrest, maintaining that the conditions of flagrancy or quasi-flagrance did not exist and also underlining the lack, at the time of the facts, of immediate objective elements to support the victim’s story. Now the request for dismissal by the Prosecutor’s Office. The dismissal request, Grassani further explains, “has already been notified by the Prosecutor’s Office to the offended party, we will have a copy of it between tomorrow and the day after tomorrow (26 or 27 March, ed.). It seems to be very long and detailed to explain the reasons why, according to the prosecution, the initial serious accusation cannot be confirmed and there are no elements to send the two suspects to trial. The complainant now has 30 days to possibly oppose the dismissal request”. The offended person, the Red Cross worker, will in fact be able to oppose the Prosecutor’s request.
