Kalle Palander experienced a shock on his diesel search trip.
The Finnish legend of alpine skiing published In the My Story section of Instagram, a videowhere he says he went to a gas station to get diesel for his excavator in Estonia.
At the pump, he was shocked.
– I went to get some diesel. I don’t look at those prices. It has been so affordable here in Estonia [Virossa]. Pretty much 1.40 for a long time, Palander begins.

Fuel prices have skyrocketed due to the situation in the Middle East. The situation has also strained Finns’ nerves. There is no quick relief to the situation in sight.
