The primary school in my neighborhood is holding an open house in honor of its fortieth anniversary. I, a 57-year-old woman, no children, but who have been working in education for years, would like to take the opportunity to take a look inside this well-regarded school. My neighbor looks surprised when I suddenly stand in front of her classroom. I say to her: “If I had children, I would want them here at school”, I am that enthusiastic. When I repeat this later in front of her mother, my neighbor looks a little worried and says: “But there is a waiting list…”
