The average price of an existing owner-occupied home was slightly lower in the first three months of this year (-2.1 percent) than in the last quarter of 2021. This is apparent from figures from the NVM estate agent’s association, which speaks of “a small breeze on a overheated housing market”. The next-to-last time the price fell quarter-on-quarter was in the early months of 2019.
