Conan O’Brien62, hosted the Oscar gala on the night between Sunday and Monday Finnish time. In the middle of the gala night, O’Brien made a joke that momentarily caught the audience by surprise.

– It is the first time since 2012 that no British actor is nominated for the best actor or best actress award. A British spokesman said: “Oh yeah, at least we’re arresting our pedophiles,” he joked live.

O’Brien’s joke made the audience gasp, but right after, the host got a round of applause.

O’Brien’s joke speaks especially in the X application. Some social media users are confused about who O’Brien is referring to in his joke.

Among the participants of the party were several famous people over the years, such as the ex-prince of Britain Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor66.

Andrew was arrested in February on suspicion of abuse of office. The police investigation is related to the allegations made in the Epstein documents. Andrew is known to have been in close contact with the late sex offender Epstein.
