After Britney Spears’ drug arrest, local police deliberately refrained from releasing a mug shot.
Britney Spears was stopped in California last week on suspicion of driving under the influence. According to the police, at least one other substance was probably also involved. An investigation is now underway.
Unlike in previous cases, no further police photos will be added to the already well-filled gallery of official photos of the stars. How “TMZ” reported, the police are not releasing it. A Ventura County Sheriff’s Office official told Boulevard that the mug shot did not meet the requirements to do so.
Specifically, this means that it is not a violent crime or that there is no danger to the public. The allegations against Britney Spears therefore do not justify publication in accordance with local police guidelines.

The musician was arrested late on Wednesday evening (March 4th) after a police officer observed her swaying more and more while driving. She was referred to a hospital for blood tests after she noticed abnormalities during the interview. She was then taken to prison on Thursday morning. Also on Wednesday, the 44-year-old posted a bizarre video on Instagram. The clip, apparently shot at her home, showed Spears dancing in a revealing outfit and with smeared makeup. Her account is now deactivated.
The case will be heard in court on May 4th. Most recently, the California Post reported that police had been called to her property in Thousand Oaks a total of 14 times in the past two years for Spears. These included several calls about trespassing.
