Injured
The Fiat 500 finally only came to a stop again in Bruges. The stolen vehicle crashed into a tree near the intersection of Maalse Steenweg and Vijversdreef. The driver was taken to hospital, but no one else was injured in the incident.
After questioning, the defendant was arrested by the investigating judge on suspicion of burglary, theft, armed unruliness and malicious obstruction of road traffic. On November 18, the Bruges council chamber ruled that C. could leave the prison under electronic supervision. He still has to wear that anklet for the time being.
Delay
The trial started Thursday morning, but the defense asked for the case to be postponed. Master Isabelle Jaques explained that C. is being guided and will be admitted on April 1. In addition, three other files are on the way at the beginning of April. In these circumstances, the arguments about the wild pursuit were postponed to the hearing of April 23.
