The Meilandjes have left SBS 6 and in their place all kinds of other soaps are being tried out, including those of Monique Hansler and her slavish son Mike Hansler. Emma lashes out
Emma doesn’t like the Hanslers at all. “I wasn’t a big fan of them anyway with Winter full of Love, but we were curious what their reality soap would be like,” she says in Veronica Superguide.
“My parents and I have been watching the Meilandjes every week for a long time, but at a certain point we thought: this is becoming too hysterical. I experience the same with the Hanslers, but we now knew immediately: we will not put this on again!”
The Masked Singer
What does Emma like to see? The Masked Singer. “I really enjoy sitting down in front of this program and guessing which celebrity it could be. I guessed April Darby, the winner of last season, within a second. This is a feel-good program that they can definitely ask me for!”
First Dates is also a favorite. “I can look at that for hours. If the conversation doesn’t get off the ground, I can really think: come on! For example, when they stare at each other for two minutes during the ‘box moment’, like: ‘Are you going to pay the bill?’ I feel that discomfort.”
