Robèrt van Beckhoven can be seen on cooking channel 24Kitchen from May. The Master Pastry Chef, Master Boulanger and Master Ice Cream Maker from Oisterwijk form a team with TV chef Miljuschka Witzenhausen in the new program Meesterlijk IJs.
The program shows how the TV personality, known for Heel Holland Bakt, makes new ice cream creations using regional products and traditions. In four episodes, Van Beckhoven makes a creation based on one main ingredient, after which Witzenhausen gives it her own twist that viewers can recreate at home.
The program was largely recorded in Van Beckhoven’s bakery and ice cream factory in Oisterwijk. He and Witzenhausen also travel to Paris to gain inspiration from a world champion in ice cream making. The master baker also visits various regions in the Netherlands where he searches for the best local ingredients for his creations.
The program can be seen weekly from May 9.
