Van Bossuyt continues reception freeze despite Constitutional Court suspension: “I am not going to stand by and watch how the system is abused”

Minister of Asylum and Migration Anneleen Van Bossuyt (N-VA) continues her reception freeze for asylum seekers who have already received protection in another EU country, despite the temporary suspension of that measure by the Constitutional Court. “The pressure on our society is enormous. I am not going to stand by and watch people abuse our asylum and reception system,” says the minister.
