The Finns reached the podium again.

Biathlon stars competed in a special setting on Monday, when the Skidskyttekampen invitational competition was held at Stockholm’s Olympic Stadium.

Finland was represented in the competition by Suvi Minkkinen and Tero Seppälä, who won the same invitational competition in Stockholm last year.

Minkkinen and Seppälä also reached the podium this time, when they were third in the race.

The victory went to the Norwegian triple team (Vetle Christiansen and Juni Arnekleiv). Norway’s second team came second (Martin Uldal and Ingre Tandrevold).

The competition shown to Iltalehti’s Plus Extra subscribers was decided in the last run, where Seppälä had to bow to the Norwegian teams.

The Skidskyttekampen was organized at Stockholm’s Olympic Stadium for the third year in a row. Minkkinen and Seppälä received a prize pool of 14,500 euros for last year’s win.

Biathlon season continues next weekend in Kontiolahti.
