Finns’ homes and yards are put in order again, when Native the eighth production season begins.

In the opening episode, a garden designer Kati Jukarainen and building contractor Teemu Luostarinen are visiting Espoo, where Soon and I was the yard has remained unusable since the sewer repair made three years ago.

– There have been attempts to get a contractor there before, Kati reveals to Teemu, who is responsible for the physical work with his team.

– Why hasn’t it been received? Teemu wants to know right away.

Kati doesn’t know how to answer the question, but on the spot it dawns on Teemu where the problem lies. The backyard can only be accessed via a steep, narrow passage. There’s quite a jungle waiting there.

– Now I understand why no one has agreed to come to work here, Teemu says.

– It’s really quite an impossible place to get on the plane.

Kati also faces her own challenges. Pia and the family’s 13–17-year-old children especially hope for a jacuzzi. They know in advance that it may be impossible to transport it to the site.

– I would think that all the other wishes are more or less feasible, but with the jacuzzi now I have to raise my hands for the first time. I have a feeling that we might not get it there, Kati laments.

– It does look bad, Teemu also thinks.

Pia and Olli also have other wishes, such as a summer kitchen and a canopy, but they don’t remember to say everything when asked.

– I didn’t say that, but I hoped that there would be as many different surfaces and materials as possible, Pia remembers when the changes have already been made.

– You didn’t say, Kati confirms.

But fortunately, the designer has been able to read minds. There are plenty of different surfaces and materials – and you can even have a jacuzzi in the yard.
