The league’s situation room reviewed the episode that happened in Saturday’s Ässät-HIFK match, where HIFK’s central attacker Jori Lehterä tackled Ässä’s attacker Jonne Tammela.
Tammela was crouched in the situation and Lehterän Taklaus hit him in the head.
In the match, Lehterä received a 5+20-minute penalty for a tackle on the head.
The league announced on Saturday evening that the case will proceed to the disciplinary delegation of the league.
HIFK managed to knock down Aces (1–4). At the same time, it broke its five-game losing streak.

The league’s situation room also took another case to the disciplinary table. The situation room checked the incident that happened in the KooKoo–Ilves match, where Ilves’ golden helmet Lukas Jašek hit KooKoo’s Miska Siiko in the neck area with a cross stick.
Jašek received a 5+20-minute penalty for his trick.
