Skating association KNSB has not appointed a replacement for Jutta Leerdam in the run-up to the World Sprint Championships. This was reported by a spokesperson for the KNSB. The Olympic champion in the 1000 meters indicated on Thursday evening that she would end her season and not use the pointer. Femke Kok was given the other designation spot for the World Cup and will make use of it.
