This concerns a number of rubbish bins in Rodenbachlaan. Litter is also increasingly appearing around the waste bins at other locations, such as Beukenlaan and Marktstraat. If the problem continues there, the municipality will also remove the rubbish bins from those places.
Wielsbeke emphasizes that the public garbage bins are not intended for household waste. They are only there for small waste from passers-by, not for dumping household waste.
