Amateur soccer player Riccardo Merkurin20, is suspected of beating his own mother in Italy last Friday, says, among other things Il Gazzettino.
Merkuri had spent his 20th birthday with his mother at the family home, when a rift arose between the two for an unknown reason. La Nuova Sardegna according to the family’s neighbor, at nine o’clock in the evening, he heard screams and called the police.
When the authorities arrived, Merkuri had already left the apartment. The police found Merkur’s mother unconscious in the bathroom.
The woman was transported to the hospital, where she was placed in a medically induced coma. He suffered injuries to his face and jaw during the assault, but his life is not in danger at the moment.
Merkuri, who is suspected of abusing his mother, was found dead in the sea on Sunday. No crime is suspected in the death.
