CHow did the third evening of Sanremo 2026 go? softly and without shocksas the undisputed master Carlo Conti commands. Bland pace with moments of happiness with Eros Ramazzotti, Alicia Keys and a moving and moving one Mogulwho at 90 received the Lifetime Achievement Award. Ubaldo Pantani/Lapo Elkann he followed his brilliant comic line While the greatest emotions came from the 15 competing singersstrictly equipped with report cards.
Sanremo 2026: the report cards of the third evening, tops and flops
Marie Antoinette & Colombre, Happiness is enough, rating: 7
At full speed for the only couple in Sanremothe one with the retro air and the 60s clothes. The two, companions in music and lifethey arrived on stage with contagious joy. They played instruments and sang about the need for happiness. An emotion that you shouldn’t wait for but you have to go and get it. Seeing them like this, it’s impossible not to believe it. Their song, full of rhythm and with a graceful refrain, It’s perfect to hum to put yourself back in a good mood.
Leo Gassmann, Naturalrating: 5/6
Leo Gassmann sang young lovethe one who leaves each other and promises to see each other again in 100 years (or rather, 20). Whispered voice, some imperfections in the high notes, his performance was diligent. His emotional “beautiful, beautiful!” at the end of the performance made the audience smile with tenderness. Too bad that Natural be feeble, not very incisive and gets confused among a thousand other equivalent songs.
Malika Ayane, Nocturnal animals, rating: 8
How classy, Malika Ayane! In a black dress with very black polka dots, a little Barbarella, a little Mina, she enchanted everyone with her very elegant look Nocturnal animals, dragging the audience into a Brazilian film composed of touches of funk, disco music and echoes of Swing out Sisters. Maybe it will be too sophisticated and cool for Sanremo pop but, listening to it is a real joy for the ears.
Sal Da Vinci with Forever yes, rating: 7/8
Every time it arrives on stage, the audience claps their hands while singing Lipstick and coffee. The same ritual happened on the third evening. Black suit, strong jaw and lush hair, Sal Da Vinci he inflamed the audience with his enthralling style Forever yes. A hymn to love, to Neapolitanism, to the sumptuous weddings of Southern Italy and the 18th anniversary celebrations. Perfect voice, theatrical attitude, deserved ovation and sincere tears. The festival was everything for him.

Thirteen Peter, Falling manrating: 6/7
Falling man It’s a nice hybrid song, half speaking, half singing and without article in the title, well performed by a highly charged Tredici Peter. Compared to the first evening’s performance, this time Pietro took courage and voice to talk about a generational malaise. An up and down of life, between falls and rises.
Raf, Now and foreverrating: 7
What to say to those who created cult like What will remain of the Eighties? Raf, who has not aged in appearance and musical heart, brought the past time even in Now forever. A dedication to his wife, a persuasive and gentle ballad described with romantic and simple words that taste like an ice cream cone in the Festivalbar summers. Written in tandem with his son Samuele, it is un rhythmic return to the last segment of the 20th century: it’s not a defect but a genre that proudly belongs to him.
Francesco Renga, The best of merating: 6/7
Another singer over 40 who seems to remain physically the same as he was in his 20s, Francesco Renga brought a song to Sanremo that corresponds perfectly to him. Just too much. But the fantastic voiceatomic energy, charisma on stage, a very clever chorus and a text that is not at all banal they make it much more interesting than expected.
Eddie Brock, Vultures, rating: 4
On the third evening of the festival, Eddie Brock’s song seemed one of the few false notes of Sanremo. Creepy words (and not in the positive sense of the term) that describe the friend he is in love with as someone who sleeps with everyone except him. Despite the good intonation and a strum of rock guitar, the song is already old and has no attractive ability.
Serena Brancale, Here with merating: 7/8
With Here with meSerena Brancale managed to combine a stellar voice with a touching theme. The Apulian artist, in a simple and elegant beige dress, she merged the most intimate feelings of a daughter in a dialogue with a mother which is no longer there. A refined ballad not far from the pathos of Mia Martini. A decidedly counter-current choice compared to the volcanic one Anema and Core of last year.
Samurai Jay, Obsessionrating: 7
Samurai Jay he must have had a lot of fun on the Ariston stage. Dressed entirely in white, surrounded by dancers who bounce to the fiery rhythm of a cheerful semi-samba like his text, full of vitality. His Obsession, whether it’s love or music, it is a hymn to resilience and it could become a real obsession on the radioon summer evenings.
Arisa e Magical fairy talerating: 7
When childhood fairy tales meet the musical de The Little Mermaidthere it rests Magical fairy tale by Arisa. The former winner of Sanremo, in a sparkly 1930s dressrecited a very melancholy textsung like a woman who still has all her dreams to catch. An unmistakable voicebeautiful and fairy who lives perfectly the song which, unfortunately, it doesn’t have the flicker of Sincerity or The Night.

Michele Bravi with Sooner or laterrating: 6/7
A gangster suit and a song full of tender confusion for Michele Bravi. He went on stage to play a clean and sincere rock ballad, he played it with surgical precision. A man in pain but not defeated, who has lost his bearings a bit due to love. Maybe he won’t leave his mark in this edition but… Well done! Well done!
Luché, Labyrinth, rating: 7
Luché’s is perhaps the darkest and most anguished song of the festival. And that’s not a bad thing. A very hard text, which speaks of love but without redemption. His look, with sunglasses, also highlights the lyrics sung and recited by professional rap artists. Very, very pleasant.
Mara Sattei with The things you don’t know about me, rating: 6
Mara Sattei was beautiful in a red dress and the proud look of someone who sings about love in front of everyone. The things you don’t know about me, with its pop rhythm like a nursery rhyme to put a child to sleep, it can be listened to over and over again with great pleasure. Too bad that can’t find a more mature and incisive touch, like a teenager who is in no hurry to grow up.
Sayf, I like you so much, rating: 7
The young Ligurian singer-songwriter he brought a folk from the soundtrack by Emir Kusturica and a splash of Ghali in a bittersweet tale of Italy. No political rant or criticism of contemporary society: I like you a lot it is a secular prayer that puts in the foreground dreams and fears of a generation. The strong point? Sayf’s energy and his desire for the stage.
Sanremo 2026, co-host report cards
Ubaldo Pantani, rating: 6/7 (for Sanremo) and 10 (for the talent not expressed here)
With a tricolor look, Ubaldo Pantani tried to inflame the Sanremo public with his alter ego Lapo Elkann. Carlo Conti’s hyper-calming effect soon put out the fire until it becomes a small fire. Sporadic jokes and so-so dialogues with the beautiful Irina they did not do justice to her talent. However, some lightning quick wit has escaped from the enclosure. Carlo Conti: «here’s the advert, have you ever run it?» Lapo/Pantani: «no, but she threw me».
Irina Shayk at “Sanremo 2026”. (Getty Images)
Irina Shayk, rating: 10 (for beauty) and 4 (for usefulness)
Beautiful, beautiful, top, top. Irina Shayk walked down the stairs of the Ariston in black lacetransparencies and blue eyes. He said two-words-two in Italian and then he stopped, announcing Exactly what everyone already knew: «My Italian is not that great». And then he made a silent scene, or almost. A beautiful, beautiful presence. Useless, very useless.
