The miracles are not over yet: Angela de Jong is receiving plenty of congratulations from celebrities as she turns 50 the day after tomorrow. From Albert Verlinde to Patty Brard. “Make it a wonderful day!”
Due to the rapid rise of Tina Nijkamp and Victor Vlam, the old trusted Angela de Jong suddenly started to become a bit of the third wheel when it comes to popular TV critics. She decided to quit as a TV columnist and thus lost a lot of impact; it is little about the columns she writes in the AD.
Wild birthday
Angela did decide to remain part of the AD Media Podcast and she will be congratulated extensively this week, because she will be 50 years old the day after tomorrow. Her colleagues made extensive calls to celebrities who wanted to leave a congratulatory wish and they succeeded.
Hendrik-Jan Bökkers, on whom Angela had a relationship crush says, for example: “Hey, Angela, Hendrik-Jan Bökkers here from Woeste Grond. I heard that today is your birthday and you are turning 50. Congratulations! I wish you a wonderful birthday.”
Hélène here
Hélène Hendriks also makes herself heard. “Hello Angela, Hélène here. First of all, congratulations and I hope that your birthday is as rewarding as a good episode of an unexpected ratings hit. Fifty is often a moment for people to look back, but I would say: look ahead.”
The Jack van Gelder killer continues: “Look forward to a wonderful new year in which health obviously comes first, but also a year in which there is a lot to laugh about and you will also be surprised, but also a year in which TV makers will thank you for your free quality control!”
Bloody hell
Huub Stapel feels connected to Angela. “Angela, congratulations on your fiftieth birthday. Dammit. I’m 71, I managed that too. We both manage by continuing to speak out against everything that strikes us as unfair, untruthful or hypocritical. I recognize that in you and I find that incredibly nice.”
“We sometimes do that against all odds, but we don’t let that stop us, because we think we should and because we were probably raised that way.”
Panther girlfriend
Patty Brard acts as if Angela visits her every week. “Dear Angela, my old panther friend. Congratulations on your fiftieth birthday. May you have many wonderful years to come.”
She continues: “We will make an extra large birthday package for you next year and I hope that you really enjoy your anniversary this week with your lovely colleagues and even more importantly: with many lovely people around you at home. Have a nice day and love from Patty.”
‘This is Albert’
Albert Verlinde, who recently called Angela Talibangela de Jong, says: “Common sense comes with age and you prove that common sense comes years earlier. We agree that you do not always have to agree with each other and that despite everything you always appreciate. Have a happy birthday and have a wonderful day.”
Angela is happy with it: “Well, how sweet guys, thank you! They are all really lovely people. I can’t say anything else.”
