One of the founders of the rap group Wu-Tang Clan Oliver “Power” Grant has died. He was 52 years old when he died.
Born in Jamaica, Grant lived most of his life in New York.
Grant was the producer and creator of the Wu-Tang Clan, founded in the early 90s.
Grant produced all Wu-Tang Clan records. He is also considered a fashion mogul, as Grant founded the successful Wu Wear clothing line.
Grant also starred in films such as Belly and Black and White. The man’s co-stars included Brooke Shields, Robert Downey Jr. and Mike Tyson.
The members of the band announced the departure on social media. The cause of death has not yet been announced.
