A barn caught fire at 2e Vroonstraat in Den Helder last night. The fire broke out of the shed and a lot of smoke was released. The street itself was closed off.
No injuries were reported, but the safety region warned local residents to keep windows closed and turn off mechanical ventilation.
It is still unclear how the fire could have started. The fire was under control around 12:50 am.
