Mountain climber and former Miss Finland Lotta Hintsa37, has started training to get back to the mountains soon. Hintsa had her first child, an actress by Sebastian Rejman48, with in late January.
Now, in her Instagram post, Hintsa lists the things she takes into account when training after giving birth. Hintsa, for example, says that at this stage he trains for about two hours at a low intensity. In addition, he takes care of his sleep.
– All mothers of newborns know that it is impossible to get uninterrupted sleep, because the baby needs to eat every few hours (especially if you are breastfeeding, but often also with formula, because the baby needs to be fed). But I make sure that my overall sleep supports my recovery, he says in his writing.
– I need to eat enough to maintain energy levels, to recover from training and long nights, but also to maintain milk production now that I’m breastfeeding. Now is not the time to improve body composition. (And I never really do), he adds.

Hintsa also brings up what she has noticed when reading studies about training after childbirth.
– I have read the latest research and talked to women who are at the forefront of postpartum research. There is a lot of outdated information out there. Whatever I’m training for, I’m interested in why I’m doing it and what I’m doing.
– I’ve consulted doctors and had a pelvic floor physiotherapist’s examination to know exactly where I’m going. I’m going back for another checkup soon, he says.
Hintsa says that she also takes into account how she herself recovers from childbirth.
– Birth can go in many ways. I had a pretty easy birth and not much damage. The stitches have already melted a long time ago and the bleeding is minimal. I felt pretty normal after four days. However, I am careful because childbirth is a big trauma for the body.
Finally, Hintsa states that he is his own coach.
– My aerobic fitness and muscles would like to push hard, but I have to be aware of my ligaments and bones. So I really watch them and don’t stress them too much. I also monitor my mental load, because stress is stress, be it mental or physical. So managing it is my responsibility, he states.

Hintsa has openly told her social media followers about her daily life as a baby. For example, at the beginning of February, Hintsa shared pictures of the joys and less glamorous moments of the baby’s everyday life. In one picture, Hintsa showed the toilet door, which is covered in baby poop. Poop had also ended up on the floor and carpet.
– Cleaning up rocket debris here and there, Hintsa writes in connection with the photo.
Hintsa and the actor Sebastian Rejman47, announced in Vogue Scandinavia in September that they had secretly married and were expecting their first child together. They said they planned their wedding in less than three weeks. Rejman proposed to Hintsa in June while they were climbing in the Alps. Between buying engagement rings and a climbing trip, the couple had found out they were expecting their first child.
