The first leg matches of the UEFA Conference League last 16 play-off round were played. Samsunspor, the only Turkish representative competing in the number three tournament of European football at the club level, defeated North Macedonia’s Shkendija team 1-0 on the road. Marius Mouandilmadji scored the goal that brought victory to the red-white team in the 77th minute. Samsunspor’s Cherif Ndiaye could not take advantage of the penalty kick in the 7th minute.
