Jens van ‘t Wout qualified for the final without any problems, being the fastest in the second semi-final. By the quarter-finals, the youngest Van ‘t Wout had also proven to be the fastest. He was joined by his older brother Melle van ‘t Wout and Teun Boer in the final.
