What remained hidden for a long time: Mia Goth and Shia LaBeouf are said to have been separated for around a year. There is silence about the divorce and custody of their daughter.
In the past, Shia LaBeouf, in addition to his film roles, has repeatedly attracted attention with violent acts and has been arrested several times, among other things. In recent years, however, things have become quieter around him – the actor went into therapy and apparently also into sobriety. He also seemed to have found true love with fellow actor Mia Goth, but now it is said that the two have been separated for a long time.
Insider wants to know exactly
According to an insider who told Page Six, the couple has reportedly been going their separate ways for a year. Mia Goth and Shia LaBeouf may have a child together, but they are said to have gone through their separation quietly. They met on the set of “Nymphomaniac Vol. 2” in 2012 and married in Las Vegas in 2016. The ceremony was broadcast live by TMZ.
“She saved my damn life.”
According to a spokesman, it was already said in 2018 that the two had filed for divorce, but a little later Goth and LaBeouf were spotted with wedding rings again. Her daughter was born in 2022, and in a conversation with fellow actor Jon Bernthal, Shia LaBeouf raved about his partner at the time: “She saved my damn life. She was there for me when I didn’t deserve anyone, especially not her.”
The Berlin video and FKA Twigs
In October 2015, a video that showed Mia Goth and Shia LaBeouf near a Berlin nightclub caused an international stir. The footage quickly went viral and shows a heated argument between the two, with LaBeouf apparently grabbing Goth by the neck and pulling her towards him. Witnesses called the police, who also appeared on site – but there was no formal report or criminal prosecution. The Berlin authorities simply confirmed the operation without taking any further steps.
Both those involved reacted remarkably taciturnly to the reporting. LaBeouf, who was already the focus of the tabloid press at the time, did not publicly comment substantively on the incident. And Goth also remained silent.
Given the later allegations against LaBeouf – FKA Twigs sued him for sexual abuse, assault and emotional manipulation – the Berlin video subsequently took on a different gravity. To date, Mia Goth has not made a detailed public statement about the incidents.
Silence about relationship status
So now it’s supposed to be over – but Goth and LaBeouf are keeping quiet about their current relationship status. Page Six’s inquiries to representatives of the couple also went unanswered. It is also unclear whether a divorce has been filed in the year since the separation and how joint custody will be regulated.
What is known, however, is that Shia LaBeouf moved to New Orleans to be closer to his family. Mia Goth currently lives in Los Angeles and was recently spotted there.
