ANDnth great day of races today at Milan-Cortina 2026 Olympics with a packed program of important finals. Like that of biathlon relay where Lisa Vittozzi – gold in the chase – and Dorothea Wierer will lead the team with their energy. In the morning instead, the race special alpine skiing slalom with Lara Dalla Meaready to win a medal after just missing out on bronze in the giant slalom won by Federica Brignone.
In the evening, however, there was great anticipation the last race of these Olympics of the super short track champion Arianna Fontana in the women’s 3000m relay. Always in the short track, Pietro Sighel will try everything and everything for an excellent placement in the final of the men’s 500m.

After the splendid individual gold in the biathlon pursuit race, Lisa Vittozzi will be back on skis at 2.45pm together with Dorothea Wierer, Hannah Auchentaller and Michela Carrara. The four athletes will be protagonists of the 4x6k relay in Anterselva. The national teams Favorites are France, Norway, Sweden and Italyeven though the Italians have never reached the Olympic podium in this format of competitions. The race will be broadcast live on Rai 2RaiPlay and the Eurosport, Discovery+, DAZN platformsHBO Max, TIMVision and Prime Video.
It is expected in the morning (10.15 am). the free technique sprint competition for men’s cross-country skiing teams with Federico Pellegrino who will compete together with Elia Barp. A couple who have already demonstrated their worth by achieving a World Cup podium in this specialty during the season. At 9.00 pm instead, Arianna Fontana – together with Chiara Betti and Elisa Confortola – will try to win his 14th Olympic medal in the stallwomen’s 3000m short track run.

After a disappointing fourth place in the giant slalom, skier Lara Della Mea is even hungrier of medals. Today at 10.00the Italian will be able to make up for it in the first heat of special slalom (the second is scheduled for 1.30pm). On the track too Martina Peterlini and Anna Trocker for an important placement.
The one who is even more eager for revenge is Pietro Sighel in the 500m short tracka skater who failed to qualify for the finals on other distances. World champion in Seoul 2023 in this specialty, Pietro will have to contend with the Canadian Steven Dubois and the very strong Dutchman Jens van ‘t Wout.
