Korfball player Jet Hendriks back at the old nest after more than ten years

Former korfball international Jet Hendriks returns to KZ from Koog aan de Zaan after more than a decade. The 28-year-old went to top team TOP from Sassenheim at a young age, but is now back at the club where she started as a youth player.

Hendriks started playing korfball at KZ when she was four. In 2011, she left KZ to play for the then national champion TOP. She then became champion of the Korfbal League four times with TOP. She also won the European Cup four times and became world champion in 2015 with the Dutch team.

Pregnant

Hendriks already stopped at TOP last season, partly because the former international was pregnant. “It ended differently at TOP than I had in mind,” Hendriks says on KZ’s website. “After having our beautiful daughter, I took the time to think carefully about what I would like to do. I have decided to get fit again at my old club and hope to find the pleasure of playing korfball again there. .”
