Peter Hahn will have to manage without his supply chain officer in the future. As Carsten Holm announced on the career network LinkedIn at the weekend, he has resigned from his position.

His departure does not come as a surprise, as the outgoing supply chain officer had already announced it in January. The reason he explained was that now was the right time for him to take the next step, to realign himself professionally and to pursue his next career opportunity.

During his time at Peter Hahn, where he started in March 2025, he says he successfully mastered a variety of exciting challenges – from the strategic development of the sourcing setup and the closer integration of purchasing, quality and supply chain to the introduction of new planning processes.

Until his departure, he supported a structured handover and welcomed exchanges with recruiters, decision-makers and industry colleagues who deal with sourcing, supply chain management, quality and responsible value creation. However, a successor has not yet been officially named. Holm himself will be available from April for new tasks in which he can increase performance, accelerate time-to-market and shape a sustainable retail and e-commerce business in complex environments.

Holm joined Peter Hahn GmbH under self-administration a few months after the successful conclusion of the insolvency proceedings. With the lifting of the insolvency proceedings by decision of the Stuttgart District Court on December 29, 2024, the way was cleared for the takeover by the British Wourth Group. The investor and Peter Hahn had already signed an investor agreement in August last year.
